Frequently asked questions
Type what you want and get a working app back with a live, sandboxed preview. Iterate in chat, then share it with a link.
What is App Builder?
App Builder turns a plain-language prompt into a working single-file app with a live, sandboxed preview. You describe what you want, see it run, refine it in chat, and share it with a link or download the file.
What kind of apps can I build?
Self-contained single-file apps: tools, calculators, dashboards, small interactive pages, prototypes, and demos. Because each app is one file, it stays easy to preview, share, and download.
How do I change an app after the first build?
Keep talking to it. Ask for a new feature, a layout change, or a fix, and App Builder revises the same app in place. Each revision updates the live preview so you see the change immediately.
How does pricing work?
App Builder runs on credits. A new app costs 20 credits and each revision costs 5. The cost is shown before you commit, and you only pay for the builds you make - there is no monthly quota to lose.
Do the credits work across the other apps?
Yes. Credits are a universal balance across every Developers Digest app, so the same credits that power App Builder also power chat, image generation, and everything else in one account.
Can I take the app with me?
Every app is a single self-contained file you can download and run anywhere, or publish to a shareable link. Nothing is locked inside the builder.
