Ground rules

  • Every sponsored post carries a visible Sponsored label and a sponsor disclosure.
  • Every outbound link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow". We do not sell followed links.
  • Drafts are 700-3,000 words of Markdown with up to 5 outbound links, no em dashes or emojis.
  • We do not accept web search, scraping, or crawling products, or anything outside the developer tools lane.
  • The editor can decline any draft. A declined paid draft is refunded in full.

Sponsored blog post

Pitch a sponsored post

We run at most 2 sponsored posts a month. If this month is full you will see the next open month instead of a checkout.

  1. Step 1

    Pitch

Tell us the product and what the post will show a developer.

  2. Step 2

    Screening

An automatic check for fit and topic replies in about a minute.

  3. Step 3

    Pay

Passing pitches get a checkout link straight away.

  4. Step 4

    Draft

Submit the draft in Markdown from your private order page.

  5. Step 5

    Publish

The editor reviews it and publishes it, labeled Sponsored.

What a developer will build, learn, or be able to decide after reading. Concrete beats promotional.

Newsletter and video

Request a quote

Newsletter placements and video segments are scoped per campaign. Video segments are screen-recorded walkthroughs with narration. Tell us what you want to reach and we will reply with availability and a quote.

Who you want to reach and what you want them to do.
