Cohere deprecation policy
Cohere says it regularly retires old models and notifies impacted customers by email, in its documentation and in blog posts; it states no fixed notice period. Its lifecycle runs Active, Legacy (no further updates, may be deprecated later), Deprecated and Shutdown. A Deprecated model is closed to new customers but stays available to existing users (anyone who used it within 90 days of the deprecation announcement) until retirement, and Cohere says a shutdown date will be assigned. After shutdown, requests to the model or endpoint fail.
