Evals & Safety
The Abstraction and Reasoning Corpus for Artificial General Intelligence, a benchmark of visual grid puzzles.
The Abstraction and Reasoning Corpus for Artificial General Intelligence, a benchmark of visual grid puzzles. Each puzzle shows a few input-output examples, and the solver has to work out the rule and produce the output for a new input. François Chollet introduced it in 2019 to measure skill-acquisition efficiency on novel tasks rather than memorized knowledge, following the principle of easy for humans, hard for AI. The ARC Prize Foundation now maintains newer versions such as ARC-AGI-2, which keeps the same task format with harder tasks.
