Inference
A synthetic long-context benchmark from NVIDIA that measures how much of a model's advertised context window it can actually use.
A synthetic long-context benchmark from NVIDIA that measures how much of a model's advertised context window it can actually use. It extends the needle-in-a-haystack test with multiple needles and distractors, and adds multi-hop tracing and aggregation tasks at configurable sequence lengths. In the original study of 17 models, nearly all were close to perfect on plain needle retrieval yet dropped sharply as inputs grew, and only about half held up at 32K tokens despite claiming 32K or more.
