A leaderboard from UC Berkeley's Gorilla project that measures how accurately models call functions, also called tools. It checks calls both by AST matching against the expected function and arguments and by executing them, across simple, multiple, parallel, and multi-turn categories, plus relevance tests that check whether a model correctly declines when no tool fits. The current V4 adds agentic categories such as memory, and BFCL scores are a staple of small and local model releases aimed at agent work.
