Notes and caveats
- Authenticates with a Mailchimp Transactional API key sent as a Bearer header.
- A restricted API key must have the AI Agents permission group enabled to use the MCP.
- Sending requires an authenticated sending domain (and an SMS number for Transactional SMS).
- Generic snippet is the documented Claude Desktop config.
- Covers Transactional only, not the Marketing API.
- Mailchimp separately markets a Mailchimp Connector in Claude for campaign planning, but its vendor page documents no MCP endpoint, so it is not listed.
