}Notes and caveats
- Remote server uses OAuth via browser login; headless clients pass a Resend API key as a Bearer token.
- The local package (npx -y resend-mcp, stdio by default, or --http on port 3000) needs RESEND_API_KEY and a verified domain; optional SENDER_EMAIL_ADDRESS and REPLY_TO_EMAIL_ADDRESSES.
- Inboxes tools are beta per the Resend docs and require contacting Resend for access.
- Also installable as a plugin with Resend skills (claude plugin install resend@claude-plugins-official; /add-plugin resend in Cursor).
- Docs list capability categories rather than individual tool names.
- Latest release v2.27.1 on 2026-10-16.
- No beta label on the core server.
