- SSO mode uses the OAuth authorization code flow via SAP's Default Identity Provider with public client ID e789ba01-5612-47ee-bfe7-79e26411c1ca (VS Code prompts for it).
- Users from a custom identity provider use the Direct Connection endpoint https://proxy.c-769d49e.kyma.ondemand.com/mcp with Base64 IAS credentials in a Basic Authorization header plus X-Platform-Origin.
- Public release announced 2026-08-27; requires access to an SAP BTP global account.
- Cross-region routing is handled by the server.
