Notes and caveats

  • Remote-only, hosted by Apollo; no local package.
  • Headless or server-side clients can send a master API key in the X-Api-Key header (scoped keys are rejected with 403 API_INACCESSIBLE) and act as the workspace's longest-standing active admin.
  • The docs list about 50 actions (search, enrichment, contacts, accounts, deals, custom objects, conversations, lists, sequences, one-off emails, tasks, analytics, sending domains and mailboxes); the tool names above are the ones the official repo confirms.
  • Enrichment and search actions consume Apollo credits; free accounts registered with a personal email cannot use people or company search and enrichment.
  • Apollo prohibits AI model training on MCP data.
  • The Codex snippet joins two verbatim doc blocks: the ~/.codex/config.toml entry and the login command.
