Notes and caveats

  • Available on all beehiiv plans, but free plans are read-only; write actions need a paid plan.
  • MCP must be enabled under Settings > Workspace > MCP.
  • OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, read and write scopes; access follows the user's workspace role.
  • Publishing or scheduling posts, activating automations, editing page body content and writing sponsorship or paywall data are not possible via MCP.
  • The MCP is unversioned and tool behaviour may change; beehiiv recommends its versioned API for stable integrations.
  • Multiple workspaces can be connected by adding a distinct query parameter (for example ?account=1).
  • The GitHub repo holds plugin manifests and skills only; the server itself is hosted.
  • The docs name only the documentation tools (plus learn_* tools) rather than a full tool list.
  • Registry server.json version 0.1.0; no tagged releases found.
