Notes and caveats

  • Uses OAuth with the user's Descript login, with no API token.
  • Each connection is limited to one Drive, and switching Drives means logging out of Descript on the web and reconnecting.
  • Imports use media minutes and Underlord edits use AI credits from the user's plan.
  • There is no separate MCP charge.
  • Known limits: no rendered MP4 download without publishing, no YouTube URL imports, no DOCX transcript export, and job history kept for 30 days.
  • Claude's directory connector leaves out the generative image and video tools; use the custom URL for those.
  • For Claude Code, the docs give only the server URL and no command.
  • Cursor setup goes through the Cursor MCP marketplace listing.
  • The docs describe capabilities but do not list tool names.
