Notes and caveats
- Generally available since February 19, 2026.
- Requires HubSpot CLI 8.2.0 or higher (npm install -g @hubspot/cli); hs mcp setup interactively writes config for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code and Windsurf, so the docs give no per-client JSON.
- Optional standalone mode runs via npx @hubspot/cli without a global install.
- Authentication uses the CLI's HubSpot account auth / Personal Access Key.
- Two tools (list-cms-serverless-functions, list-cms-remote-contents) are deprecated.
- Separate from the remote HubSpot MCP server for CRM data.
