Notes and caveats

  • Cloud-hosted only; OAuth 2.0 required and bearer tokens are not accepted.
  • Only workspace admins can install the Jotform MCP app.
  • Free at no extra charge; rate limits match the REST API (60 req/min Free, 600 req/min Enterprise).
  • The interactive MCP App variant for forms is at https://mcp.jotform.com/mcp-app and adds create_submission, list_submissions, display_form, get_teams and get_embed_code.
  • The GitHub repo is a README plus Gemini CLI extension (gemini extensions install https://github.com/jotform/mcp-server), with no tags or releases; last commit 2026-02-26.
  • The Claude Desktop config in the README is identical to the Cursor one and is used as the generic snippet.
  • VS Code is documented as steps only (Command Palette, MCP: Add Server, paste URL).
