Notes and caveats
- GA announced 2025-08-20 (Klaviyo newsroom).
- Remote server uses OAuth with dynamic client registration over Streamable HTTP and is limited to Klaviyo users with Owner, Admin or Manager roles; the local server (uvx klaviyo-mcp-server, requires uv) uses a private API key.
- Docs list 260+ tools; the remote server loads a core set of about 40 tools with core-tools-only, some tools (create_event, upload_image_from_file) are local-only, and Beta tools need beta=true.
- Query parameters include read-only, disable-tools-with-user-generated-content, toolsets and core-tools-only.
- Also listed in the Claude connector directory and as a ChatGPT app.
- The generic snippet is the vendor's local-server config documented for Claude Desktop; Claude Code and Codex have no vendor-documented snippet.
