Notes and caveats

  • Each tool needs specific token scopes (styles:*, tokens:read/write, user-feedback:read).
  • The hosted endpoint uses OAuth and does not offer create_token_tool or MCP Prompts.
  • Documentation tools moved to the separate Mapbox Docs MCP Server.
  • Docs page shows v0.7.0; npm latest is 0.8.2 (published 2026-07-30).
