CRM and sales - official Salesforce server

Salesforce Hosted MCP servers

Salesforce-managed MCP endpoints that expose an org's data and automation to MCP clients with per-user OAuth, respecting each user's object, field and sharing permissions. Standard servers include SObject All/Reads/Mutations/Deletes, Data 360, Tableau Next, Content, Backup and Recover, plus admin-built custom servers from flows, Apex actions and API Catalog. Salesforce hosts it at https://api.salesforce.com/platform/mcp/v1/platform/sobject-all with OAuth auth.

Notes and caveats

  • GA announced April 2026 for Enterprise Edition orgs and above (pilot spring 2025, beta October 2025).
  • Requires an External Client App (Connected Apps are not supported) and its consumer key; clients must support OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code with PKCE.
  • Tested clients: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Postman, Agentforce Vibes (auto-enabled).
  • Headless 360, Metadata Grounding and CRM Analytics servers are labelled Beta.
  • Salesforce says servers, tools and versions may change or be retired with advance notice.
  • Tableau, Slack, Heroku and MuleSoft MCP servers are separate products not covered here.
