Notes and caveats

  • The repo README is titled 'Adyen MCP Server - Alpha'; mapped to preview.
  • Runs locally only (no hosted endpoint).
  • Requires an Adyen API key (ADYEN_API_KEY env var or --adyenApiKey) and --env=TEST or --env=LIVE; LIVE also needs --livePrefix.
  • The API credential needs specific webservice roles per tool; Adyen recommends a dedicated webservice user. --tools restricts the exposed tool set.
  • Tool names come from the vendor's published @adyen/mcp 0.6.0 package (the README lists endpoints, not names); the package also includes legal entity, onboarding link and account holder tools.
