Notes and caveats
- Beta; tools may change.
- An account or card admin must accept the Developer API agreement and enable the 'Brex in AI assistants' beta under Settings, Beta features.
- OAuth with Dynamic Client Registration is recommended; account and card admins can instead pass a Brex API token as a Bearer header.
- Each tool requires a specific Brex capability and existing permissions carry over; approvals and card management are not yet available via MCP.
- Generic snippet is the Claude Desktop config (needs Node.js v20+).
- Cursor setup is via Settings, MCP with name brex, type http, URL https://api.brex.com/mcp. 43 tools documented.
