- The MCP client needs no authentication; data access is governed server-side by the application's Search API key permissions.
- Read-only.
- Requests count toward existing Algolia usage with no separate MCP fee.
- Algolia-managed hosted service with no public source repo.
- Transport inferred from the http type in the docs.
- No explicit beta or GA label.
