- Each user needs a Command license and access to the Teamspace.
- Requires pre-registering an Asana MCP app (client ID and secret) using the same registration steps as the main server, with resource https://mcp.asana.com/v2/command/mcp; Dynamic Client Registration is not supported.
- The Claude Code snippet is two documented steps: save the JSON as command-mcp.json, then run the add-json command.
- The Codex config uses the community mcp-remote bridge, which Asana does not support.
- Asana does not publish a tool list or a GA/beta label for this server.
