Notes and caveats
- Formerly branded Atlassian Rovo MCP Server; README marks it Generally Available. v2 endpoint is recommended; v1 endpoints (/v1/mcp, /v1/mcp/authv2) remain supported and the legacy /v1/sse endpoint was retired after 30 June 2026.
- Requires an Atlassian Cloud site.
- Auth is OAuth 2.1 or API token (Basic email:token or service-account Bearer key); API token auth must be enabled by an org admin and is required for Jira Service Management tools; Compass is OAuth only. delete_jira and manage_jira groups are off by default; Bitbucket tools need a workspace linked to an organization; some Teamwork Graph and Confluence generation tools consume Rovo credits.
- Only a small set of Primary tools is exposed up front, with others reached via discover/execute; append ?tools=all for a flat list.
- Cursor and VS Code are documented as marketplace or extension installs rather than snippets; local clients can use the mcp-remote proxy (Node.js 18+).
- The repo has no GitHub releases.
