Notes and caveats

  • Available on all ClickUp plans.
  • OAuth only, with no personal API keys or tokens; custom clients need OAuth 2.1 with PKCE.
  • Without the Everything AI add-on, calls are capped per rolling 24 hours by plan (Free Forever 100, Unlimited 300, Business 1,000, Business Plus 2,500, Enterprise 5,000, Enterprise Plus 25,000).
  • The developer docs count limits per Workspace and per client, while the help center says one pool is shared by every client; the two pages disagree.
  • With the add-on, public API per-minute limits apply.
  • Tool names are the display names from the docs, not wire identifiers.
  • The FAQ says there are no deletion tools, but the tools page lists Delete task, so the docs contradict each other.
  • No public source repo or release log.
