hello- Verifies connectivity to the hosted CircleCI MCP server.
list_runs- Lists runs for a project or your own runs across all projects, filterable by branch or run status.
get_run- Fetches a single run by UUID with its phase, outcome, VCS details and any config errors.
list_workflows- Lists the workflows belonging to a run.
get_workflow- Fetches a single workflow by UUID with its name, phase and outcome.
rerun_workflow- Reruns a workflow from the start, or only failed jobs and downstream with from_failed.
cancel_workflow- Cancels a running workflow.
list_jobs- Lists the jobs belonging to a workflow.
get_job- Fetches a single job with its phase, outcome and per-step detail including exit codes.
get_job_logs- Fetches the output of a job's steps, defaulting to the failed steps.
list_artifacts- Lists the files a job persisted, such as test reports, coverage or build output.
list_job_tests- Lists a job's test results, failing tests by default.
download_usage_data- Exports an organization's usage data as CSV files for a date range of up to 31 days.
As documented on October 17, 2026. A running server reports its current list through tools/list.
Notes and caveats
- OAuth2 is recommended; a personal API token sent as a Bearer header is the fallback for hosts that cannot complete OAuth or for headless use.
- Also listed in the Claude Connectors Directory and the Cursor MCP Marketplace.
- The earlier local npm package @circleci/mcp-server-circleci (repo CircleCI-Public/mcp-server-circleci, Apache-2.0) is deprecated, no longer receives feature work and will be archived; CircleCI directs users to this hosted server or the CircleCI CLI MCP.
- No beta or preview label on the docs.
More MCP servers for CI/CD and testing
- BrowserStack
BrowserStack MCP server
Connects AI agents to the BrowserStack testing platform to run manual and automated tests on real devices and browsers, debug failures, run accessibility scans, manage test cases and load tests, and use BrowserStack AI agents. Available as a hosted remote server (OAuth) or a local npm server (username and access key).
Transport: Streamable HTTP, stdioAuth: OAuth or API key - BuildkiteStatus: GA
Buildkite MCP server
Open source MCP server, offered as a Buildkite-hosted remote endpoint or a local binary/container, that exposes Buildkite Pipelines and Test Engine data so an agent can inspect pipelines, builds, jobs, logs, artifacts and tests and, with write access, trigger, retry or unblock builds.
Transport: Streamable HTTP, stdio, SSEAuth: OAuth or API key - JamStatus: GA
Jam MCP server
Hosted MCP server that lets AI coding tools open a Jam bug recording and load its context (video frames, transcript, user events, console logs, network requests, metadata). It also exposes tools to search Jams, comment, organize folders, and manage recording links.
Transport: Streamable HTTPAuth: OAuth or API key - JetBrainsStatus: GA
TeamCity MCP server
MCP endpoint exposed by TeamCity servers that lets AI agents read build logs, query the TeamCity REST API, queue personal builds and, in brave mode, create, edit or delete pipelines and build configurations.
Transport: Streamable HTTPAuth: OAuth or API key - LambdaTest (TestMu AI)
TestMu AI MCP server
A hosted remote MCP server that connects AI clients to the TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) platform for HyperExecute test orchestration, automation failure triage, SmartUI visual regression analysis, accessibility audits and test management.
Transport: Streamable HTTPAuth: OAuth - SonarSource
SonarQube MCP server
Connects AI coding agents to SonarQube Server or SonarQube Cloud code quality and security data: issues, quality gates, security hotspots, coverage, measures, dependency risks and code snippet analysis. Runs locally as a container or JAR (stdio or Streamable HTTP), or as a hosted server embedded in SonarQube Cloud.
Transport: stdio, Streamable HTTPAuth: API key
