Notes and caveats

  • OAuth sign-in is the default flow; the Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code snippets shown are from Jam's personal access token page and use a Bearer jam_pat_ token (scopes mcp:read, mcp:write; mandatory expiry of 7 days to 1 year).
  • The main MCP page also documents a Claude connector, a ChatGPT plugin, a Cursor Marketplace plugin, and OpenCode/Windsurf configs.
  • Docs carry no beta or preview label.
  • Video-only tools and getScreenshots are unavailable for Instant Replay Jams.
  • Some tools use Google Gemini per Jam's FAQ.
  • Destructive tools exist (deleteJam, deleteFolder deletes all Jams inside, not restorable).
  • Access mirrors existing Jam permissions.
  • Jam also ships a CLI it positions as an alternative to MCP.
  • No public repo or release history found.
