Notes and caveats

  • Supports Streamable HTTP only, at POST https://api.fireflies.ai/mcp.
  • Fireflies has retired the older HTTP+SSE transport, and clients set to it get 405 or 410 errors.
  • OAuth is the default.
  • An API key can be passed as a Bearer header through mcp-remote; that config is documented for Claude Desktop. fireflies_search and fireflies_fetch are experimental and rolling out behind feature flags. fireflies_get_rule_executions needs Enterprise tier, and team-level analytics need admin rights.
  • More tools are documented than listed here, including fireflies_get_channel, fireflies_get_usergroups, fireflies_get_user_contacts and fireflies_get_rule_executions.
  • Claude and Devin setup is through their connector marketplaces.
  • The registry lists it as ai.fireflies/fireflies.
  • Not to be confused with firefly.ai.
