Notes and caveats
- Docs say Mercury MCP is in Beta.
- Mercury does not offer a non-hosted MCP.
- Uses OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE S256; write actions need explicit scopes (transactions:request, transfers:request, categories:create, categories:edit, transactions:update), and existing read-only connections must reauthorize to gain them.
- The AI tool cannot approve payments or move money on its own.
