Notes and caveats
- Regional endpoints: US https://mcp.mixpanel.com/mcp, EU https://mcp-eu.mixpanel.com/mcp, IN https://mcp-in.mixpanel.com/mcp.
- Auth is OAuth (Authorization Code + PKCE, dynamic client registration) or, in beta, service accounts via an Authorization: Bearer Basic <base64 username:secret> header.
- MCP is on by default only for free and growth accounts created after August 1, 2026; all other orgs need an admin to enable it in Settings > Org > Overview.
- Experiments and Feature Flags tools are in open beta; Get-Audit-Log is a limited beta.
- Rate limit 600 MCP requests per hour per user.
- Run-Query cannot filter or break down by cohort, and SCD (profile history) fields are unsupported.
- Codex snippet is followed by codex mcp login mixpanel.
- Optional open-source Claude Code skills plugin at github.com/mixpanel/ai-plugins (skills, not the server).
