Notes and caveats
- Plaid states the Dashboard MCP server is under active development, breaking changes may occur, and Plaid currently provides limited support; the page carries no beta or preview label.
- Works with Production data only; the team must be approved for Production access with at least one Plaid product.
- For API use, create an OAuth token via /oauth/token with grant_type client_credentials and scope mcp:dashboard and pass it as Authorization: Bearer; tokens expire after 15 minutes and can be refreshed with the refresh_token.
- Generic install is the server URL to add in a client's remote MCP settings (choose Streamable HTTP).
