Notes and caveats
- Default auth is interactive login with the user's Wix account; for non-interactive tools (for example n8n) Wix documents an API key plus wix-account-id headers.
- Agents without remote MCP support connect via the local npx proxy (npx -y @wix/mcp-remote@latest https://mcp.wix.com/mcp).
- The config type field accepts "sse" or "http" depending on the agent.
- Docs require Node.js 19.9.0 or higher.
- Also available as a built-in connector in Claude; Cursor users without an API key can install from the Cursor MCP library (no snippet).
- Wix also ships a Wix Plugin bundling the MCP with Wix Skills.
- The GitHub repo is a README and Gemini extension manifest only, with no license file and no releases.
