Notes and caveats

  • Closed-source hosted service.
  • MCP v2 is Streamable HTTP only at https://mcp.wrike.com/v2; the older https://mcp.wrike.com/app/mcp/stream and /app/mcp/sse URLs serve MCP v1 and not the v2 tool set.
  • Official listed connectors exist for Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Gemini Enterprise.
  • Custom OAuth connections need an admin-created Wrike OAuth app (client ID and secret); clients configured through npx mcp-remote (Cursor, Claude Desktop manual config) need a Permanent Access Token because they require Dynamic Client Registration.
  • The generic value is the server URL from the custom connector page, not a config block. recommend_resources is a Wrike Labs feature limited to Pinnacle and Apex plans.
