Setup guide - From GLM and Roo Code docs

    International Coding Plan (https://api.z.ai/api/coding/paas/v4/)
  4. Step 4.

Z AI API Key: paste your Z.AI API key. Model: select the GLM model you want from the Model dropdown.

Caveats

  • Z.ai says to update Roo Code if the Coding Plan entrypoint option is missing.
  • Roo Code's docs describe only International and China regions mapping to https://api.z.ai/api/paas/v4 and https://open.bigmodel.cn/api/paas/v4 (standard API); the Coding Plan entrypoint comes from Z.ai's page. The standard endpoint bills pay-as-you-go rather than plan quota.
  • Roo Code fetches models from Z AI's API automatically; model ids listed are Z.ai's current Coding Plan models.
  • Coding Plan and Standard keys are separate since 2026-10-16.
