Augment Code
AI coding platform built for large, complex codebases. Context Engine indexes 500K+ files across repos with 100ms retrieval. Intent desktop app orchestrates parallel agents.
Augment Code is an AI coding platform whose proprietary Context Engine indexes up to 500,000 files across multiple repositories with roughly 100ms retrieval latency. It maintains real-time understanding of how services, APIs, and dependencies connect across an entire codebase, which makes it dramatically more accurate than tools that only see open files. The Intent desktop app launched as a standalone macOS workspace for multi-agent orchestration where a Coordinator agent breaks tasks into a living spec and delegates them to parallel specialist agents. Auggie, their CLI agent, achieved a 51.8% solve rate on SWE-bench Pro, the top score among all entrants. Augment became the first AI coding tool to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 certification. It supports VS Code, JetBrains, Vim, and works from IDE to CLI to code review.
