Notes and caveats
- Works only with ClickHouse Cloud services.
- It must be turned on per service in the Cloud console (Connect > MCP), which requires the control-plane:service:manage-mcp permission.
- Auth is OAuth 2.0 with Cloud credentials, or a Cloud API key sent as HTTP Basic auth for headless use.
- Status beta comes from ClickHouse's public beta launch blog; the current docs carry no status label.
- The generic snippet is the one the docs give for Windsurf (via mcp-remote).
- For Cursor, the docs only say to install it from the Cursor Marketplace.
