Notes and caveats

  • Launched 2026-02-04 and available on all plans.
  • Auth is browser OAuth with Dynamic Client Registration, or Enterprise-Managed Authorization through a compatible IdP (tested with Claude and Okta).
  • The MCP has no API key or service-account access; Granola points those use cases to its separate REST API.
  • The Basic (free) plan covers personal notes from the last 30 days, without transcripts and some folder and search tools.
  • Business covers personal and public notes.
  • On Enterprise, admins choose which note scopes members get and can turn off transcript access.
  • Each query covers only the active workspace.
  • Rate limits average about 100 requests per minute.
  • For Cursor and other clients, Granola documents only the server URL.
