  • Runs from a cloned repo with uv (Python 3.10+) against a running Milvus instance; no vendor-published package (the PyPI name mcp-server-milvus belongs to a third-party fork, not Zilliz).
  • Auth is an optional MILVUS_TOKEN env var when the Milvus instance requires it.
  • SSE and Streamable HTTP modes are self-hosted.
  • The generic snippet is the README's Claude Desktop stdio config.
  • No GitHub releases; last commit Aug 11, 2026.
