Notes and caveats
- Requires a Prisma account and workspace.
- You sign in through the Prisma Console OAuth flow and pick a workspace when connecting.
- The full catalog in the Prisma MCP tools reference has 31 tools, including Composer topology and more Compute and Object Storage tools; 15 are listed here.
- The Codex install is a plugin that bundles the remote server with Prisma skills.
- The github.com/prisma/mcp repo has no LICENSE file, and its README is outdated.
- It still describes an older local server (npx -y prisma mcp) and older remote tool names that the current Prisma docs no longer document.
- The docs give no ga/beta label.
